PlayStation Network cards are virtual funds that act as a substitute for regular credit cards. Sold in $10, $20 and $50 denominations as of March 2011, users can purchase these cards at local stores in order to purchase digital content, such as movies or video games, on the PlayStation Network. When you redeem a card you will notice the full face value of the card is placed inside your PlayStation Wallet menu. These codes are used to redeem the card amount and place a balance onto your PSN account. Sign into your PSN account. Enter both your user name and password using the PlayStation 3 controller.
If your PS3 automatically signs you in, you do not have to re-enter the information. Highlight the PSN account by scrolling over it.
Activate Psn Card Yourself
Press 'Triangle' and a drop-down menu will appear. Select the 'Account management' option.
From the account management option, select 'Add funds.' A keyboard menu will appear. Locate the 12-digit code on the back of the PSN card. Using the PS3 controller, enter the 12-digit code to redeem and activate the PSN card.
Couldn't i just go to an empty register and flash the card through? And would it work at those self check machines? XGladiator71 Well, you'd first have to open the register (make it active) because it wouldn't work if there isn't a sale going on, and even if you did figure out how to do that. Also, for a self check machines, there should be a person there monitoring it, so if you decide to swipe the card and not pay, you'd get busted. Even with the register idea, you'd most likely get busted even if you figured out how to make it active. Just face it, you were screwed over, and there's little you can do about it. I dont get allowance or anything and took me time to get that money. Im usually very picky with things like this and usually dont get scammed or robbed, but this deal just took me into it too much and i didnt have live for like 5 months so i was blinded lol. I definitely learned my lesson.
How To Activate Psn Code
I was talking about those machines on the wall where you flash any product and it simply tells you the price, ive never seen those guarded by employees, but im not sure if that will work, it might take a register scanner to activate it plus the register transaction might have to be completed for it to be activated not by simply being scanned. Im gonna try tomorrow at target, if everything fails im just gonna keep the card until i come across a friend or relative that works at a big retailer like target or walmart.
